They Made That Change Uptown and the Big Man Joined The Band

TD Bank Garden, Boston, Monday March 26, 2012.

I had the good fortune of having a general admission floor ticket for this show.  Turn the volume up and enjoy:

This was the show closer.  The ovation for the Big Man (starts around the 3:28 mark) was flat out deafening.  The guy in front of me was plugging his ears, while I was screaming so hard I thought I was going to pass out.

Clarence’s nephew, Jake Clemons, is playing sax for the E Street Band this tour, and the kid is flat out KILLING it.   Another poignant moment in the show was when Jake tilted his sax skyward before the sax solo in Thunder Road – visible here around the :50 second mark:

What’s especially awesome is the way the crowd roars in anticipation as Jake approaches the front of the stage for the solo.  Even the goofballs who were sitting down (huh?) stood up for it.

Well done, kid.  Well done.

For the Bruce Fanatics, the highlight of the show was Thundercrack. Enjoy:
