My Favorite Touchdown Dance Ever – Gronk’s Palace Guard Strut in London

I’m generally not a big fan of theatrics after touchdowns in the NFL, but Patriots Tight End Rob “The Gronk” Gronkowski unleashed a tremendous effort this past Sunday after his first touchdown against the St. Louis Rams.   The game was being played in London, and Gronk paid homage to the Buckingham Palace Guards with this move (animated GIF via Bleacherreport.com):

With Gronk, though, his own words are often as awesome as his actions.   This time was no different, emphasis mine:

The little Nutcracker dude, guarding the house, the palace…  I like how he just sits there and stays still. It’s pretty cool. I give credit to Chandler [Jones]. He told me to do it.”
