2014 Holiday Gift Guide

It’s about time for my annual holiday gift guide.  These are all products which I have personally purchased and recommend first hand.    If you click on any of my links to Amazon.com, and buy anything – even something other than the products listed – I earn a small commission, but your price doesn’t change.   This is one of two sources of “revenues” for this blog, the other being advertising.

Thanks for your support.

Black and DeckerASI300 Air Station 12-Volt or 120-Volt Inflator

I bought this for myself and for my dad.  It easily handles the tires on my lawn tractor as well as on my Subaru Forester.

Cards Against Humanity

I haven’t played this yet, but I’m told I’m going to love it…

ASUS RT-AC66U Dual Band Wireless AC1750 Gigabit Router

I bought this to replace my 10 year old wireless router.  Setup was easy, and it’s working fine.  I don’t even use 85% of the fancy features it has, but if you’re a tech geek, it seems like it’s a pretty capable piece of equipment.

Kreg Jig HD

If you enjoy building stuff out of 2x4s, like I do, this simple jig for connecting them is a must have.  Slam dunk – this is my favorite purchase of the year.

Earthwise TC7001 11 inch 8.5 AMP Electric Tiller/Cultivator

I was looking for any excuse to hate this machine – I was super-skeptical that an electric tiller would be of any use.  Once I got used to the thing (it works great pulling it backwards instead of pushing it forwards), it did a great job on my garden.

Muck Boots

These things are a New Hampshire standard.   4 season.

Enjoy, and happy holidays
